Vintage Dress, Suit for Him and Overcoat

Without further gangling about my age, I have to admit when I go on the retro sites and such, they make me feel even older!  I remember most items either because I was there or it was in our home.  It is unreal that my childhood items are now antique!

Growing up I was surrounded by antiques and vintage was everywhere.

I have a few pieces of clothing I would like to share with you.

  3. Such wonderful beadwork on the flapper dress, it's almost impossible to find hand sewn beadwork on clothing in this day and age...too time consuming. And whatever happened to men's hats ? Noticed the label in the man's suit jacket; "Caddy Miller's Hat Shop". There was a day when men wore their fedoras also as proudly as women did. :)

  7. I adore vintage clothing. A neighbor (when I was 9) had prom dresses from her daughter's proms (50's era) and I used to play with them. I wish I had them now!
